Young Greatness, Louisiana rapper shot and killed in New Orleans
A rapper who moved to Houston after Hurricane Katrina has been fatally shot and killed outside a Waffle House in his hometown of New Orleans while visiting with family today. (Monday, October 29th 2018)
The rapper Young Greatness born Theodore Jones rose to fame after releasing his track “Moolah” which acquired over 40 million views on YouTube alone throughout the various re-uploads. Fans often compared his craft to a mellowed out auto tuned heavy version of Future, which you could really hear in a lot of the tracks that made the cut on his “Bloody Summer” mixtape a few years back, Toni Braxton being one of the stand out tracks from the set list.
The New Orleans Police Department said the shooting was reported at 1:35 a.m. in the parking lot of the restaurant located in the 2900 block of Elysian Fields Avenue, its said that Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
